I am sorry you have to more than a little blind and more than a little numbed to hyper feminism to not notice the blatant feminism in that movie. All the bad guys are male and almost all of the good guys are female and the ones who are not are pretty much hanger ons to the female character, including Mad Max. Why make a Mad max film where mad max is not the lead? Because he wasn't Mad Maxine.
I think it is silly that men are boycotting the film but it is no less silly to use that as an excuse to dismiss the blatant and over the top feminism in the film. Below is an article celebrating the in your face feminism of the movie and it is not written by a men's right activist. I also find it telling who much disdain men's rights groups are shown. Don't mean know that they are the problem and can't join the cult of victimhood unless the use their minority status or sexuality?
Like I said I liked the movie and I don't object to an artist right to have a political message I just think this was distracting and took away form the movie and I think using a guy flick to sell feminism makes about as much sense as using the Diary of the Travelling Pants to sell men's rights.
