My problem is when they take a show and turn it into something it completely different because they want to ride the coattails of the previous show. Take the remake of Battle Star Gallitica. I lover the series but it would have been better if had a different name and they didn't try to wedge the silly 80s series in sidewise. I like the SyFy networks new series 12 Monkeys but they took the most interesting concept from the movie, the past can't be changed because it has already happened, and threw it out the window. If there no Monkeys it would be a better series.

I don't really blame Hollywood either, I blame the fans. Hollywood wouldn't have made 35 Friday the 13th if people hadn't kept watching them.

If they make the new Ghostbusters a movie that looks and feels like a Ghostbuster movie I will be. If the make something different and call it Ghostbusters then I won't.
