"Begin Again" is the movie to which I referred. It purports to demonstrate a preferable music distribution model that supposedly favors artists and consumers at the expense of the recording industry, while ignoring that the particular case in the story is only made possible by the spunky little guy protagonists standing on the shoulders of the industry colossus, and that a world in which the record companies go broke by artists directly selling music files on the internet is a world in which the protagonists would not have the resources to carry out their production, or the ability to distribute it as widely and successfully as they do.
