I assume a lot of Feast and Dance will be compressed. And obviously, there is no way in hell that Martin will complete the books by 2017. So, what will folks do that are fans of the books first and foremost?

No wait, that was unnecessarily dramatic 
They'd have to not go on the Internet. At all. For maybe five years. And avoid contact with anyone who watches the show, including siblings/friends/offspring/spouses. And not read any magazines or newspapers in that time. For safety's sake, probably avoid all kind of human interaction of any kind, online or in real life.
This may not be practical for everyone, of course.
