I watched all but about the last 4 or 5 episodes I think. I watched for a while and honestly the book's plot being totally thrown out annoyed me, but I might have been able to get over it if they hadn't taken nearly every concept that I liked from the books and turned on its head. The blatant disregard for the books and the haphazard throwing in of elements from other books in the series where it was totally unnecessary (Sisters of the Light???) really turned me off. I won't give any spoilers, but when I read the descriptions of the last few episodes on Hulu I just plain gave it up. The makers of this show clearly have no respect for the books themselves and are content with not only throwing out a pretty good story line, but they proceed to remake the entire "seeker" universe in their inferior and incapable minds with utterly terrible results.
The largely sub-par acting and poor effects were annoying at first, though I got over those and actually enjoyed a few episodes, but I just couldn't bring myself to keep watching with the story as mangled as it was....
Goodkind is no RJ, though he would clearly like to be one, but his universe was still enjoyable enough to me that what has been done with "seeker" makes me a little more hesitant about a WoT movie....

I had zero interest until they announced Charisma Carpenter was going to be in it.

That might have been worth it, if you couldn't already find naked pictures of her on the internet. *NM*

I think whether or not someone likes that show hinges on two things.

Pretty sure Goodkind said outright the show wouldn't match the books

But the show was never going to even be remotely like the books. That's why they changed the name.
