There are only few German actors in it in smaller roles so I am pretty sure the original version of the film is in English.
View original postIf I recall corerctly the plot started with the main character finding out he could sense a coming death in a person, a plot device that was entirely underused and ultimately completely unneccesary for the movie. Did they adapt that part also?
Yeah they did, with a rather decent camera trick. It does give those scenes a bit of a supernatural touch, which may not be to everyone's liking, though.

I am surprised, even thought production money came from here and the book was a huge success, that we got it so much earlier than the rest of the world.
