View original postSaw a brief clip on the daily show of Tauriel speaking to Legolas (Tauriel never appeared in the books and is a peter jackson creation) and I thought for a moment, now this is an elf that is bad ass, one that is going to fight for home instead of just fade away or move to the lands of the undying.
View original postShe is really bad ass, yet not man-in-disguise amazon-like. Her motivations make sense from her point of view and Lilly does a great job portraying her. I thought the character was a great addition that tied a few threads together and made for a reasonable plot.
I really liked her too. You can also infer that she had a big influence on Legolas going to Elrond's Council and joining the ring quest.

Sorry, two-legged dragons are just goofy, even if they did the best they could with that limitation

I don't care whether dragons have "hands" or not, as long as it meets all other draconic reqs.

Have to say, this was even worse than the first one, and I fear the third one may be still worse.
