...no link I read about the topic so far mentioned "script doctoring". There always was the phrase "Arndt exits" involved, which sounds pretty bad, as if they's start over. Do you have a source that sounds differently?
Certainly, production design and location scouting will be far ahead already and won't have to start over, but I wouldn't be surprised if this slowed things down a little.
