It seems astonishingly premature. Marvel spent years and what 4-5 movies building up to Avengers. They finally relaunch Superman after so many years (lets all pretend Returns doesn't exist) and they are going to risk it with an unknown Batman actor trying to follow on from the arguably the best superhero trilogy ever? Just seems nuts and a huge and unnecessary risk.
