The royal wedding and the death of Joffrey is going to be the last scene. They are setting up that wedding so much to just leave it for season 4.
Very interesting point of Arya and the potential of Martin talking to the producers about "future events". Rowling did the same thing with HP on those movies.
Yeah, I'm getting a little bored with Theon's torturing. We need to see a point/revelation soon.
View original postAs always, spoilers for non-readers of future books:
View original postMelisandre showing up in the riverlands to steal Robert's bastard and having a little encounter with Arya. That was actually pretty exciting, because it was paving completely new ground. Meli saw something in Arya, eyes of three colors staring back at her. Future victims of Arya's? And a "we will meet again" as goodbye, which has not happened yet in the book, right? Very interesting and a real hint that the producers sat down with Martin to discuss things still unwritten.
View original postI am a bit worried about the Theon storyline, though. Are they really gonna show a torture scene in every second episode for two or three seasons now? How much longer until they reveal his torturer's identity? For people who haven't read the books Bolton's Bastard is not worth more than a shrug at this point anyway (although they are doing an increasingly excellent job in establishing his dad). And the readers already know, so get on with it!
