I suppose there are risks involved with filming their scenes a season ahead of time, but it seems pretty clear that HBO is in on GoT for the long haul, so maybe they should consider it. It's true that audiences are fairly forgiving of it, but both characters are much more potent as the children they are in the books as opposed to the young adults the actors are becoming, and even tricks can only overcome that to a certain point.
