View original postIsn't "My Dad's a secret agent" the biggest-ever cliche for abandoned children? The episode felt like the plot of a Derek Storm novel.
How did you not see this coming? Ever since they introduced the concept of Daddy-O, I've been sure he was going to be something spy-ish. Lots of opportunity for goofy Castleness.
View original postThat aside, I did not think this episode was well-done, from the awful green-screen Paris, to Castle's sissy-girl run out of the bad guy HQ. Yeah, get out, and don't let ANYTHING stop you, not even an easily-pushed-over guard.
I liked it, though I did yell at him to shoot that guy. Or at least steal the gun. But I did think that since it was about getting Alexis out, it was completely plausible that he would run and not look back. After all, it is the same thing he did with Beckett.

It wasn't about the running, it was the mincing, girly running style.
