Slow. Yawn. Great dialogue? Well...some of Schultz at the beginning was pretty good, but having Schultz shoot Candie and then not turn around and shoot Candie's bodyguard was completely out of character. But then we just had to get to Django killing everything in sight...
And what was with the ridiculous effect when he shot the sister? Were we supposed to think there was an invisible man in front of her who shot her with a shot gun from about a foot way at exactly the same instant that Django shot from above and to the side? Sheesh.
And between Di Caprio and Jackson there was enough scenery chewing (old stage term for silly, over the top acting) that I'm surprised there was a back drop left by the end of the film.
But then if you think that saying "honkey" or "whitey" with disdain and sneer makes you "a big man", then you probably loved the movie.
(Sorry...a little over the top...but it wasn't even a good pulp.)
