You saw two of his movies. Liked one and didn't like the other. And you haven't seen any of the others. And you decide you are not a fan based on what exactly?

Based on my not being a fan of gratuitous violence, and on the reviews of the ones I haven't seen. The plot of Inglourious Basterds sounded revolting enough, and there was little in the reviews that gave me the impression the movie would positively surprise me. Same with this one. I don't necessarily say they're bad movies, I just don't think they'd be my cup of tea. Although admittedly they do seem to have more of a point to them than Kill Bill.


Haven seen much of Quentin Tarantino works and really have no urge to do so...his works just seem so over the top.

But I disagree with Kill Bill, Kill Bill is a silly movie and you know it was a silly movie going in, but a Pre Civil War African-American revenge fantasy or a World War II Jewish revenge fantasy...these things can not be just a silly movie.
