So much of the television that I have loved this past year or two has been British made stuff (Life on Mars, Downton Abbey, Spooks, Ashes to Ashes, Being Human, State of Play, Doctor Who, Misfits, the list goes on and on and on...). And I've found I have been enjoying them more than most of the "American" made shows (shows made for the US television market in particular; though much of those shows are made in Canada).

If I could afford to, I'd ALMOST move to Britain just for their tv shows. Not really, but almost.

...and because I am so sick of people praising every single fart made in Britain as if it's the second coming of Jesus...

But I gave it a shot very recently and what can I say. It's so clever, brilliantly written and filmed and Martin Freeman is so awesome and I can't wait to see more of it!
