Well, I for one was very impressed by this episode.

I liked the use of the Daleks and how they were in many ways incidental to the meat of the episode's drama. The beginning was certainly shocking with the humanoid Daleks and the whole Amy/Rory divorce thing.

The humanoid Daleks were cool. The way the Daleks talk really irritates me when they have to say things other than "EXTERMINATE," so I was glad Ms. Stilettos was there to deliver exposition in a normal tone of voice. I mean, I am not sure if it really fits in with the Dalek's MO of "racial purity AT ALL COSTS," but to be honest I don't really care that much. The girl secretly being a Dalek at the end made the episode more interesting and emotional, and that's good enough for me.

I really liked the new character Oswin. I could tell there was something not right when they showed her apparent omni-potence with Dalek tech.

And of course the actress will actually be back next series as she's been cast as the new companion.

Didn't they announce the new companion's name was Clara? I wonder how similar Clara's personality will be to Oswin's.
