I was gonna review it back when I'd returned from the States, but I forgot. - Edit 1

Isn't it out yet? I confess I declined to wait for the delayed showing and went to America to see it instead.

Though I actually ended up seeing it in Canada. Which is mostly important because it meant I got a hilarious pre-movie ad about Canada celebrating the 200th anniversary of them kicking America's ass (that's how they remember it in Canada, anyway).
I liked it. It is good to have a kick-ass Disney princess for once. Granted, it got a little soppy in the end, but two female main characters whose narratives focus on their growth as people (rather than, say, as women in relation to some prince), can I just say it's about bloody time.

I kind of have to agree with the prevailing opinion - it's a good movie by Disney standards (although I don't know that I'd necessarily rank it above the surprisingly good Tangled), but not up to Pixar's very demanding standards.
And they had done a beautiful job on Scotland: that is exactly what it is like.

Definitely one of the most gorgeous animated movies ever, yes. But everything else wasn't entirely up to that level.
