Yeah, the violence is a pretty big part of it.
They took the humor out of it?


I don't regard it as a good movie. Really. Fighting can have it's place in movies, but it should be a consequence of the plot, not the plot in itself. and really, gladiator didn't manage to have a real plot. Also, russel crowe was in it, and I really can't remember if he has ever done a good movie.
