...but I guess it adds to the humor of the moment when Rogers finally gets a reference (the flying monkeys bit).

Stephen Hawking was such a reach, the attribute I thought of was not "intellect" but "frail body, confined to a wheel chair."

It allowed for a funny, Whedon-humor moment. I got it w/o any trouble, and enjoyed the giggle about the "uh... smart guy."


I didn't have any trouble getting it. It's just that my mind went to his physical limitation before his intellect. And Einstein is almost synonymous with genius (to the point that calling someone that can even be inferred as sarcastic with the proper tone of voice... no one ever sees you fail at something and says "Way to go, Hawking" ).
