Not an April Fools, just old news of which I recently became aware: Apparently, there was a production of Hamlet a few years ago with Patrick Stewart as Claudius and David Tennant in the title role. Produced (obviously) in Britain, it was also broadcast on PBS, and can consequently be seen in full at the below link (IF you can view it where you live; I, sadly, cannot.

God I bet the fanfiction done with that would be terrible...
Particularly after the Fourth Doctor married the Second Romana IRL (though, according to Wikipedia, since their divorce she is remarried to Richard Dawkins, which surely wins some kind of prize for trading down.
)I would say so but then radical atheism has never been my thing...I have no idea what a Romana is though and I always though slash fic was more like porn...and I was hoping this wouldn't be porn as that would make it even worse...but the entire idea is crazy enough that we should probably stop talking about it...
The actress who played her post-regeneration was married to Tom Baker at one point, making her a "companion" in more than one sense. I am sure a TON of slashfic resulted from that; one could say there was some "slashnonfic." From what I have heard, there is no such thing as "crazy enough" when Tom Baker is involved.
