Talking people are annoying, especially when their first idea is stupid

One of the complaints about sequels is how they are just the same movie repackaged. What this guy is proposing is to give Star Wars the Hangover 2 treatment. Also the idea that there is any movie executive, anywhere, who can stand up to George Lucas when he's throwing his proverbial creative weight around is equally ridiculous. You know how that conversation would go? Remember early in the Phantom Menance, when one of the Nemoidians argues with Darth Sidious who tells the viceroy, "I don't want to see this stunted worm in my sight again." And the objector hangs his head, slinks away and is never seen again. That's basically the meeting where this pompous tool tells George Lucas how he's going to fix Lucas' passion project. And the other Fox execs would beat him up too, because $$$$$$$$$$$.
And what's wrong with "meeting two strangers who immediately take out their lightsabers"? That tells me all I need to know. How much characterization did Leia have. Why were we supposed to care that this snippy chick got zapped by stormtroopers and mouthed off to Darth Vader? When I was a kid I was disconcerted that she was lying to him, because the opening crawl said exactly what Vader told her, that she was a member of the Rebel Alliance. That was it. Maybe two lines of dialogue and then later she reveals the crucial character facet that she is not in favor of her home planet getting blown up. And then she makes fun of a stormtrooper for being short. By that point we're halfway through the movie, and she has less dialogue than Qui-Gon had by the time the lightsabers come out. But thanks to the other three movies, we know lightsabers coming out is an awesome thing. We didn't need characterization, we only needed to hear "Obi-Wan Kenobi" like parents don't have to spend years getting to know their baby before deciding they'll take it home from the hospital. We were invested in Obi-Wan because of what he is, not who. On with the fights! A New Hope had gunshots before any non-robot had a word of dialogue. The first non-electronic words in the film were gasped out of a choking captain in Darth Vader's hand. Some people are letting a couple semesters of Creative Writing or Film School interfere with their memories of the original films.
And then he wants to make Padme even stupider than she becomes in the subsequent movies by implying that a teenaged girl with no powers should not have her capabilities questioned, but a guy with more than two decades spent studying to be a Jedi might not be as competent as she...
There are two types of people who wear shirts & beards like that. One you just want to punch and make him cry before whining about conflict resolution, and the other you had better not punch unless you want to see his axe. I think we know which side this douche comes down on.
Also, a Jedi gets in a barfight with a podracer, and only because some chick shows up, does he "manage to make it out alive."
This guy is dressing up his shipper fan fic as a critique of an immensely successful movie. It made nine figure profits, and induced enough people to watch the next two to earn them the same. Who the hell is this guy who has to give his work out for free, to tell one of the most commercially successful filmmakers of all time how to tell a more entertaining story? I'm done.

Qui-Gon is the protagonist if you absolutely need one (though I don't know why you do)

I thought the Padme-Anakin relationship was kind of plausible, just not addressed well in the films
