Back in the day when both Firefly and Wonderfalls were cancelled after one season, I was all grr, argh. They are two of my favourite shows ever, but no one else watched them when they were on tv. Hell, Wonderfalls was cancelled after only four episodes, but they had already filmed the full first season so it was all released on DVD.
Dollhouse was cancelled in its second season, but it's an odd case. The first season of Dollhouse mostly sucked except for the Alan Tudyk episode and Epitaph One. Then the second season, where the show got cancelled, turned it up and was actually pretty amazing down the stretch, so once again a show I was digging got the axe. But I can forgive that one, because I think the only reason the second season got awesome was because it was already cancelled and Joss Whedon just put everything he had out there to finish the story.
Meanwhile we get a hundred seasons of CSI and fourteen thousand American Idols and its clones.
... no offense to anyone who likes those shows.
(Well okay, maybe just a little offense.)

The Unusuals was definitely a good one. I never watched Better Off Ted. *NM*
