I just couldn't get into buffy it wasn't a bad show, but I just could not get into it, and it was the type of show I figured I would love.

I watched from episodes season 1 episode 1 to season 2 episode 3. Season 2 Episode 3 is where Spike shows up and kills the anointed one.


It wasn't until around the middle of the second season that I started to get into it. I thought the first season was really cheesy, and the first half of the second season wasn't much better. On a subsequent re-watch, I still had the impression that had I started watching when I didn't have as much free time, I probably would have given up almost right away. Now it's one of my favorite shows.

Unless you really didn't like it at all, I'd recommend at least trying to get through the second season before you decide it's not for you.
