So, nobody watched Wilfred? - Edit 2

It aired on FX this summer, but I recently watched the show on Hulu. All 13 eps of the first season are available and the show is only 20-some minutes per episode.
The show revolves around a character named Ryan who sees his neighbor's dog as a human in a fur suit. Ryan is basically a loser who isn't doing anything with his life at this point in the show. He used to be a lawyer, but we see him [REDACTED/TINY SPOILER] in the opening scene of the series. Whether or not the dog is real or a figment of his imagination isn't the point of my post. I was just surprised that nobody had commented on it.
The show has cruder humor and situations than I usually enjoy, but it somehow manages to stick a hook in me. It ranges from bizarre, brilliant, disturbing and occasionally all the way to plain gross... intriguing me enough to watch the whole season a day or three. When trying to decide why it had my interest, I could only chalk it up to wanting to discover what's really going on in Ryan's mind.
So... thoughts?
