Very goofy, some fun (cute) moments. It's pretty obvious that after the drama of the first epi, they thought it made sense to go overboard the other way. It was mostly silly, with only a little depth added through the Castle/Alexis interaction.
Side note: I'm somewhat ambivalent about the fact that the show has become a vehicle for "geeky" shout outs and events. Thoughts?
