It has elements of good and elements of bad.
It would most definitely be a cable show in America. Lots of sex and bad language (very bad), and the first season has some very basic episodes; but there is something about at least some of the characters that really appeals to me.
The basic plot is: youths on community service (punishment) are affected by a freak storm and gain superpowers. Hilarity & drama ensues.
