Looks good. I'm excited. I'll take reboot than no Spidey at all.

I for one don't care if it is a reboot. Honestly, I think this film is more in touch with the original story of Spidey than Raimi's trilogy. (which I love also, just not as much as I thought I would)
Web-shooters? yesplz and thank god. Raimi gave his Spider-Man an unlimited capacity to produce and spin organic webs. Sure Spidey was able to do it in the comics, but that came much MUCH later when he underwent his transformative death. Having Spidey rely on mechanical shooters that can get damaged or run out of ammo gives harrowing battles more ... punch.
Gwen Stacy = Peter's first crush and girlfriend. Not so in Raimi's version. I'd like to forget he ever made the third movie where Gwen was just there as rebound fodder. I just wish they didn't make her into some lab technician in the new movie. That's what it seemed like to me from the trailer.
Teenage hero who still copes with a not so great high school life? YES! That was the whole point with the early life of Spider-Man. In Raimi's film, he skipped over that and had a collegiate Peter battle his real first villain as an already grown man.
I'm just glad to get a new movie of my favorite Marvel character. The cast is excellent. As long as they keep S.H.I.E.L.D. far away from Spidey, I'll be okay.
P.S. Raimi's Spider-Man was more camp than anything else. I just couldn't take anything and anyone in it seriously. I felt like I was watching a cartoon.

Kirsten Dunst almost ruined Spider-Man for me.

Carnage may have been modeled after Joker, but they are definitely not the same.

Green Lantern felt funky the moment they cast Reynolds as Hal Jordan.

I understand the part about Tobey. He had that awkward nerd persona down pat.

The scene at the end turned me off even ore than the moody spiderman

Lol. He's not so bad ... until he cries. Then he becomes unbearable.
