There will be a movie, to be released 3/9/12 from Disney/Pixar (live-action), based on the Princess of Mars book by Edgar Rice Burroughs. I can't believe I haven't heard about this until yesterday (browsing SF Signal). Why haven't you told me? This is the most exciting piece of movie-related news that I've heard since the time the LOTR movies were announced.
The trailer doesn't show much, I don't care, I'm ridiculously excited. I might even see it opening day/night.
