I hope the vampires are made to suffer (and also a spoiler from true-blood.net)

Who gets to kill more vampires, the witches or the fairies? Anyways, I want to see some guts!
I like the twist they gave to the fairies. I mean the fact that they're horribly ugly and are just able to fool people into thinking they're beautiful. I suppose it's part of some actual mythos?
Tommy is dating Hoyt's mom? I don't get that AT ALL.
I really liked that. It's the only thing I like about Tommy or that old hag. It seemed so perfect - Hoyt's mom needs someone to mother now that her son's gone and Tommy needs someone to take care of him.
I don't think there's actual dating involved, though. Is there? Wasn't the depraved sex act of this season meant to include Jason? (also, awesome quote: it's not that I don't appreciate all the licking, course I do)
I liked that Sam has shifter friends.. I hope he hooks up with that one girl. Mmm mmm hot.
Ugh. The whole second episode was a cock tease. They keep showing every male actor's naked upper body but stop short of showing the really interesting part? Not cool. Pander a little less blatantly if you're not gonna do it properly.

The days of Sam (Sam Trammell) turning into a dog or bird are child’s play compared to what he’ll do this season. “My character explains the full-range of capabilities that shapeshifters have, and a lot of people that she’s talking to at the time don’t even know some of that,” says Janina Gavankar, who’ll be a love interest for Sam this season. “There’s a really dark side to shapeshifters as well and that’s something we’ll explore this year. There’s potential wrongdoings that can happen.”
So, I suppose we'll see Sam turning into another human this season? Might there be something else cool here? The shifters are the underdogs compared to the vamps and the werewolves, so could they have some unseen ability that makes them more formidable?

Sure they can. Harry Keogh, the Necroscope, did. Many times. Willow too from BtVS.

Necromancers can force dead people to do things, like moving, but they can't quite bring them back
