It was recently announced that American Gods will be adapted into a series for HBO by Playtone (Tom Hanks's production company), with Robert Richardson & Gaiman writing the pilot.

Neil Gaiman has announced on his website that a full-cast version of American Gods is gearing-up.

So... thoughts? Cast ideas? Etc?
