I thought the same thing, about time for Tywin L. But seriously, that intro scene was perfect and so was the casting.
This episode could have also been titled, "This is why good will never win, because good is dumb". Ned, seriously, wake the f up. He could have prevented all of this, but dropped the ball by being so noble.
I am really starting to like the Wall arc of the series. Jon Snow and Sam are great characters and of course, this is the real fantasy portion of the show, as in the white walkers, well, until the dragons hatch.
Incredible job by HBO.....truly terrific.
