That is quite possible. In that case, however, who is the kid Amy was holding? There is no indication that timelords regenerate into infants.
She was artificially aged, but really only a day old (if that) when she was shot.
How do we know this?
The episode took place over a few hours, maybe a day. I'm pretty sure that the Doctor explains the machine as having used cells from his arm to act as both sperm and egg to create an embryo that is artificially aged to fight in the war. So while she is his daughter, she's also made up of only him. Thus making her a clone, no? I'd have to watch the episode again to be sure, but that's easy enough for me to do. I'll get you a quote when I get up in the morning.
