Boothe gets shot and the show ends with him fading out. Then the start of the next episode was at Boothe's funeral, with Boothe in his own color gaurd. He played dead to lure out some criminal who said he would only resurface at Boothe's funeral.
Castle: This is so weird. I dressed up as him for Halloween.
