I haven't thought it out yet, but right now I'd say it wasn't a fake - that it was real and she turned just enough when Castle said something that she didn't get a fatal shot. Though, knowing how these writers are, maybe it was fake and next season she's going to be giggling at Castle falling for it.:D ... :shakefist:


You misunderstand. The shot was real, there was blood. What I'm thinking is that she will be saved at the hospital but they decide to say she's dead so they can lure out the killer or something. And it would be awesome to see Castle's reaction if he thinks she died :)

-Loved how Castle dragged Beckett away kicking and screaming. Very powerful moment.

Yes. I got all sappy right about then.:P As I said to Jake, I'm not sure it's realistic, but it certainly was powerful.

-Hilarious how Beckett ranted about how she wants Castle gone and the Captain was like, ok. I loved the look on her face when he said ok.

:D I know. That was awesome. It's one of the parts that keeps coming back to me when I think about the epi.

-And of course, the "I love you" moment. Very touching, I thought. I wonder if she will remember it or if she was already too far gone to really hear it.

A great season finale. Damn you cliffhanger!
