Too many of them involve talking to the dead. This is easily my least favorite of the paranormal plots.

The Dark Tower Based on Stephen King's novels. King executive-produces.

This one I'm definitely disappointed about. Unsurprised, but disappointed nonetheless.

According to Dark Horizons:
"Ron Howard's planned film trilogy and interlocking TV series adaptation of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" saga looks to be staying at Universal Pictures after all.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Howard, Brian Grazer and Akiva Goldsman have regrouped to try to bring the budget down after the project hit issues over its expense last week.

Goldsman is reportedly now rewriting the script to reflect a lower price point, while the start date will certainly not be this Fall as previously planned. The delay also raises a question as to whether Javier Bardem will still be involved."
