Goodbye Eli Wallace, you're a good man. imlad Send a noteboard - 10/05/2011 05:10:43 AM
As much as it pains me that SGU is now over, I was very satisfied with the way season 2 ended; not on a cliff-hanger as such, but still left wondering.

I'm left wondering if Eli even actually tries to fix the last stasis pod or not, though I would like to think that he does.

We can only wonder what the creators and writers had in mind for a theoretical third season, something we will probably never find out (a small part of me hopes that some network somewhere decides to bring SGU back sometime in the next few years; something this ending actually would allow for).

Those of us who continued to watch were treated to an end of the series that isn't, a bittersweet way to close out what I, and many of my friends, thought was the best of the Stargate franchise, and probably the best show SyFy channel had next to Battlestar Galactica.

If I was to run across a poll now as to what show I would most like to see resurrected, I would easily pick SGU over even Firefly. Blasphemous, I know. I don't care.
Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
