After Anne's beheading I watched just to finish the series, and to see how Tamzin MErchant's acting was (since at the time I watched the Tudors Tamzin was still cast in the role of Dany for Game of Thrones).
So frakking glad they recast Dany!!!!

It's meant to be pretty men and women in Renaissance clothing, if you ask me. And pretty good for what it is, with some fine acting in a number of the roles, but as serious historical fiction it just falls short.
Personally I watch it mostly for Natalie Dormer. I dare say the third season will be rather less interesting for that reason.

Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.

It isn't exactly meant to be particularly realistic.

Well, clearly it's not meant to be accurate, otherwise they wouldn't take so much license
