Former fake Supergirl Adrianne Palicki is the new Diana Prince in David E Kelley’s TV makeover
Adrianne Palicki, wo once played a fake Kara/Supergirl in Smallville, and also featured in four episodes of the first season of Supernatural (she was in the infamous burning-girl-on-the-ceiling in the pilot) is the new Wonder Woman in showrunner David E Kelley’s upcoming TV makeover for the DC superhero.
More recently Palicki has starred in Friday Night Lights and the yet-to-be-released movie Red Dawn.
The pilot script that’s been doing the rounds on the internet shows that Palicki will have three different identities to bring to life: Wonder Woman, Diana Prince and Diana Themyscyra, the head of Themiscyra industries. Confused? Check out this story.
The pilot was written by Kelley and will be directed by Jeffrey Reiner (who also directed the pilot for The Event).
She wasn't just some random "burning girl on the ceiling"! She was Jess! She fueled a five season character-arc!
