The punishable crime is Jacob Send a noteboard - 21/01/2011 01:57:54 PM
When someone downloads a show from a torrent site it's not being profited off of. (Is that even a correct sentence?) If no body is profiting how is that considered copyright infringement? What is the punishable crime if it's not copyright infringement or stealing?

that it is an act that robs/prevents the earning of income on an owned and licensed good. Torrent is mainly liable. The people who down load are complicit. The act prevents a profit on a good that has been created with the purpose and intent of making money.
