You have no idea how hard it is to find a decent confit de canard in this country. So I might go with some kind of venison.
Dessert is definitely a crème brûlée, perhaps with some cognac flavouring or something. and berries on top.
starter is actually the problem. I am thinking some kind of salad, perhaps with goat cheese. But that is what I am thinking today, tomorrow it might be scallops fried with maple syrup with small amounts of garlic/cauliflower mash.
