The studies I have seen say the best TV for children that young is one that is turned off. But beyond that I think you over thinking it if your problem with the talking rodent who is the same size as the talking dog is that the physics are not accurate.
What always bothered me about Mickey Mouse is Pluto. Why can’t he talk and why is he treated like a pet when Goofy isn’t?
