Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World - Yes yes, I finally got around to watching it.

I'm not going to go into great length about this movie. I'm sure there have been plenty of other great reviews, whether positive or negative. I do have one thing to say, though.
This movie was DARING.
Now, I personally thought it was a great movie, but I can absolutely see the other side of this one, and that's because it's a daring movie. It took a LOT of chances, and they paid off for a certain population, while at the same time alienating a much larger population.
There's no doubt in my mind that this movie will have a cult following for years to come, sell a buttload of dvds, etc. Not everyone will like it, and that's okay.
I guess the point that I'm trying to get to is that I wish there were more movies like this. And yes, I know that there are, in fact, a lot of indie movies that take risks. What I'm talking about is Hollywood, that generic-making monster that puts big budgets behind things that are so predictable my seventeen month old son could figure them out, taking a risk. But that will never happen because movies like Scott Pilgrim fail at the box office.
Oh well. Either way, if you like videogames or comics, Scott Pilgrim is definitely worth a watch. If you don't, it's still worth a watch, just to see if you might stretch your tastes a little bit. Always cool to do that, right?

I thought the editing was pretty clever. Each scene were literally connected to each other, haha.
