This sounds super interesting. I think when i go home from work I am gonna try to find the pilot online and wait and see if Towers of Midnight gets delivered in the morning.

To start off with, I am not a fan of the zombie genre of horror. However, I will say this, upon watching the pilot, it was very tastefully done. It was gory, the zombies were well done, and the story superb.
Unlike the typical zombie movie, where the dead come back to feast on human brains, and escaping them; the pilot used them as a backdrop to a much larger story, a tale of survival in a world gone to hell.
There were a few moments that startled me, but that was it. I did not find it very scary, which I think was the aim. The goal is not too scare viewers, but to tell a story. Zombies being the plot device, and the useful antagonist.
In fact, to avoid spoilers, there was one zombie you feel sorry for, and the person who has to "put her down".
Picture Lost, but with zombies.

Not all drama is soapy. Zombieland was great, but this is high quality so far.
