Not that I'm planning on seeing the Swedish version but they were already casting for the American version before the film was out on DVD here. It is just ridiculous.
A film should only be remade if the original was done poorly so it can be clearly improved on, not because they are too lazy/ scared to make a completely new film and want to hang on the coattails of the old film.
I am officially refusing to see any "re-boots" of movies ever again.
