By far, the best actor on the series is his (first) pimp. For the life of me, I cannot remember the character's name, but she's great. The actress who plays that part is a great actor. At first, I thought that the series was going to be all out-of-control sex acts and premium cable TV action...but it wasn't really like that. The story and the struggle of the different individuals in their lives was the compelling part of the show.

And for those who are curious, they never have shown the main guy (Ray's) hung-ness. You see his butt plenty of times (as in every episode's credits), but you don't see it . Per female nudity, nothing is held back there....
