like you mentioned, creepy children are awful. And clowns. And anything paranormal stops me right now. Ghosts (especially those with abnormal movements like in House on Haunted Hill), exorcisms, etc, and I'm never sleeping again. I don't know about monsters though, I think that's a case by case basis.
