We didn't grow up with first person shooters and realistic horror movies. There was no cable TV to show us movies the broadcast companies didn’t want us to see. In some ways we had a lot more freedom but in others we were very sheltered. I used to get scared watching old Wolman movies that would send you into fits of laughter if you watched them but I could leave the house in the morning and not come home until it got dark and there was not an adult in the world who knew what we up to.
