So, we all know that Time Lords only get 12 regenerations, right? At least, that's what wikipedia says (because of the Master). So what happens when we get to the thirteenth Doctor? Thirteen because of the first Doctor, plus twelve regenerations, of course.

Do we get a reboot? Some sort of magical snake spell like in the movie? Some other weird timey-wimey thing? Moffat's keen to keep reminding us of the last eleven Doctors, so this stuff with Amy can't have reset him back to zero. Can it?

I dunno, but I'm sure they'll find a way around it. - 24/07/2010 03:43:57 PM 556 Views
I am sure Moffat has a plan - 24/07/2010 05:02:24 PM 516 Views
I think The Master was given (or offered?) an extra set of regenerations. - 24/07/2010 07:03:47 PM 688 Views
Only because he had a non-Time Lord body at the time. - 26/07/2010 04:41:09 PM 458 Views
