River's watch in "The Pandorica Open" looks suspiciously like the one the Jacket Doctor is sporting. And if she has Amy's watch in "Time of Angels"... Have they been swapping watches around?

Edit: No! It is her time-agent time-jumpy thing, isn't it? Could it be THAT is what the Jacket Doctor has? Not a watch at all?


If River is wearing a time vortex manipulator on her wrist, and if that looks similar to the different watch worn by the Jacket Doctor ... then that explains a lot. The Jacket Doctor wouldn't need either the TARDIS or the cracks in order to move about. He just needs to get out of the box and get River's device.

Thank you. But River has just been made non-existent by the TARDIS exploding, and the Doctor is shut up in a box specifically designed with multiple failsafes to keep him in. I'd say he has his work cut out for him.


Did the TARDIS actually explode already? I know there was an explosion happening inside, but we didn't see the whole thing go boom just yet. So perhaps there is still hope for her (beyond the fact that we know she has to survive to enact the roles we've already seen).


Hmmm. Well, the explosion inside the TARDIS plus the multiple supernovas and the silence are fairly clear indications that whatever was going to happen happened.
