the Director said, about the Doctor being imprisoned in the Pandorica, that "effectively it is the death of the Doctor. Or the Doctor that we know" (my emphasis).


Apparently the Doctor is going to have a new outfit next season and as the outfits tend to reflect the Doctor's personality that could indicate a change in personality.

Of course several people here have speculated that the Doctor's absent-mindedness this season is artificial. If this was to be cured so to speak, I think we would be dealing with a somewhat different Doctor.


But I like the bow tie.
Perhaps the change is that he will finally get proper braces with buttons rather than the clip-on things? Ooooh, or a three-piece suit!


Apparently Matt Smith wanted to have a hat as part of the new costume, but Moffat said no


Aww. Moffat is such a spoil-sport. That would have been genuinely cool.
